Introduction to Flameworking Borosilicate - get your feet wet!
Prerequisite - None.
Students learn basic safety and equipment use and are taught how to make a small glass marble or paperweight. This course is a good way to experience the glass forming process on a very introductory level.

Introduction to Functional Glass -
Prerequisite - None.
Students learn basic safety and equipment use. Students are taught how to make basic decorated hollow forms, such as shot glasses, stash jars, and drink stirrers.
$150 - one class, 3 hours

Beginning Boro Beads and Pendants -
Prerequisite - None.
Students will learn basic information about safety, tools, and equipment and will practice making beads with dot and stringer techniques. Form, style, and annealing techniques will be discussed.
$250 - one class, 6 hours

Advanced Boro Beads and Pendants -
Prerequisite - Beginning Boro Beads and Pendants
Explore bead and pendent making using tubing. Including demonstrations showing the portrait reversal, implosion, and inside out techniques.
$300 - two classes, 4 hours each

Beginning Pipe Making -
Prerequisite - Introduction to Flamkeworking Borosilicate or Beginning Boro Beads and Pendants
Students will learn shaping of different styles of pipes on clear borosilicate tubing. Emphasis is on spoons and bats; beginning fuming techniques are also taught.
$300 - two classes, 4 hours each

Intermediate Pipe Making -
Prerequisite - Beginning Pipe Making
Students will learn more advanced decorative techniques such as inside-out color application and advanced shaping.

Advanced Pipe Making -
Prerequisite - Intermediate Pipe Making
Explore advanced lamp working techniques. Students will be shown reversal/off axis, stick stack, tetris stacking, and tribal techniques.
$400 - two classes, 4 hours each

Beginning Lathe Work -
Prerequisite - Any intro or beginning class.
Learn how to make your own basic tubes.
$400 - two classes, 4 hours each

Advanced Lathe Work -
Prerequisite - Beginnning Lathe Work
Learn how to make your own decorated tubes. Techniques include adding ice catchers, decorated sections, and glass-on-glass work.
$450 - two classes, 4 hours each

In order to reserve your space in any class, the entire fee must be PAID IN FULL, IN ADVANCE - NO EXCEPTIONS. Fee is non-refundable unless class is cancelled due to minimum enrollment not being met.

Unless otherwise noted, the tools and materials are provided in all classes, and students will be able to keep what they make.

Lessons can also be customized to your specific needs so that you get the experience your desire. If you have specific interests let us know and we can work toward your goals at your own pace.
